Celebrating After Our Evolution

Anyone who has gone through a substantial business change, particularly a merger, will know how exciting and positive it can be but also how much hard work and effort is involved behind the scenes, both during and after normal working hours. This year has certainly seen enough of both, firstly with the change of Licensee and change of financial planning software, and then more recently, the rebranding and merger of our Cairns business with Evolution Financial. Of course, first and foremost amongst all this was still looking after you, our valuable clients, as we normally would do.

We’re extremely fortunate to have an excellent hard-working team who know how to buckle down and get things done without complaint, and still all get along wonderfully. While we’re still working hard to make some changes in systems, technology, and in some cases investments and platforms (as well as meet all the new requirements from the Royal Commission and FASEA) we decided that the Friday following our official merger back in October that we would celebrate with the team at Howlin’ Jays down at the Pier Complex with some cocktails, food, laughs and let off a little pressure. A good night was had by all, and with my daughter now on her P plates, we even had our own personal taxi service to pick us up.

We are excited about the future as Evolution Financial and the even better ability to look after our clients in an improving range of ways, (and don’t worry, the Friday cocktails isn’t a regular occurrence!).
